The parklet is open, the sun is out and it’s time to meet our friends and neighbours in Uptown New West!
We’re looking for people like YOU to activate the Belmont Parklet! This newest New West urban space is ready for some love. Do you have a board game group that wants a place to play? Are you an en plein air artist that wants a place to paint? A muscian that wants to share their tunes? A recovery group that wants a place to create and share stories? A poet that wants to share their rhymes? We want you! The sky is the limit.

A small honorarium or local refreshments will be made available for activators (depends on activation). No amplification will be allowed. No sales will be permitted. The Uptown Business Association will not be responsible for any expenses incurred from activating the space. By activating this space, the UBA is looking to reflect both the cultural and artistic diversity of New Westminster and surrounding communities. This program is open to applications from all communities as all voices and peoples are welcome. Sceduling is by availability
