This year\, we will be honouring the incredible Valerie Easton\, recognizing her long and illustrious career as a dancer\, choreographer\, director\, and mentor. We feel it is truly “About TIME” that Valerie is celebrated for the profound impact she has made on dancers in our community. \nValerie has performed across Canada as a dancer on both stage and screen (check out some old CBC variety shows – you might be surprised where you’ll find her!). Beyond dancing\, she has choreographed and directed for Bard on the Beach\, Studio 58\, Theatre Under The Stars\, Gateway Theatre\, Western Canada Theatre\, Neptune Theatre and Applause Musicals. Her selected credits for The Arts Club Theatre include: Mamma Mia!\, Bittergirl\, A Christmas Story\, Billy Elliot\, West Side Story\, Les Misérables\, Red Rock Diner and 15 others! At Royal City Musical Theatre\, where she was also Artistic Director\, her credits include: Fiddler On The Roof\, Cabaret\, Will Rogers Follies\, Anything Goes\, Annie and Oklahoma\, to name just a few.
