Uptown Plaza is ready for your community activities and events! Uptown Business Association is offering grants to community organizers to host activities in the plaza
At Belmont and Sixth Street is Uptown Plaza, a lively public space in the centre of the walkable Uptown neighbourhood known for its shops and eateries. The plaza is colourfully painted and has public seating available for folks to meet up and connect.
Uptown Business Association (UBA) and the City of New Westminster are working together to support activations of the plaza that are open to the community and bring fun and positive energy.
Organizers must apply for a City permit and may request grant funding from the UBA here.
