Call for Artists

Artist Fee: $5000

*Fabrication & installation costs covered by the UBA

 The Uptown Business Association is inviting design proposals for their 2026 Banner Run. We are looking for artwork to be displayed on approximately 48 street poles in Uptown New Westminster These artist-designed street banners add colour and vibrancy to the area.

Who is eligible?

• This artist call is open to all BC based artists with preference given to local New Westminster artists. Artists who submitted to the 2025/2026 call out are encouraged to resubmit.

What projects will be considered?

• Artwork must be the original work of the artist.
• The proposal should be a newly created image
• Designs must conform to the technical specifications outlined below.
• The design should consider the limitations of the material.
